We need to redress the misinformation that is laced through society, entwined in our brains; unsure which thoughts are really our own, and what ones were drilled in. It is a dawn of re-education, wherein the Internet has made it possible for us to zero in on our unique interests and refine them. We have the ability to network and collaborate at the touch of a button. In numbers, we create support webs, unstoppable by armed forces. We don’t work merely in the physical, the revolution is also in ethereal, the Spirit world. The struggle of indigenous people is united. “No matter, how large the distance is between us as indigenous peoples, we live similar realities” (364). We are in a battle that calls for arms! The arms embrace of our brothers and sisters; open hearts, open ears and open minds are calling out. What is the thread that entwines us? It is not a beast of shame hiding in the closet. It is a Universal Truth & Clarity. Love and Resilience, waiting patiently, for our collective recognition of its existence.
